Q: What is the difference between an ATM card and a VISA Check Card?

A: Both cards can be used at an ATM machine to withdraw, deposit, and/or transfer money. ATM cards can be used at merchant locations who are members of PULSE. A VISA Check Card can be used anywhere Visa cards are accepted.

Q: What do I do if I lose my ATM card or VISA Check Card?

A: If you lose your ATM card or your VISA Check Card you should call 877-938-5400 as soon as possible to report the lost card or visit your local InFirst Bank office.

You can also use Manage Cards through Online Banking or your InFirst Bank Mobile App to immediately shut off your card if it is lost and conveniently turn it back on yourself if it is found.  This service also can send you notifications when transactions are approved/denied.

Do I need to notify the bank if I'm traveling?

A: Yes, it is important for the bank to know if you are traveling outside the state or country. Please do one of the following:

  • Call our toll-free number at 800-349-2814 to speak with one of our local team members
  • Visit your local InFirst Bank office to speak with an InFirst team member in person
  • Send a message through Online Banking

Please note, you will need to provide the dates you are traveling and any cities you will be visiting. This helps us to know there is no fraudulent activity on your account and you are the one using your card outside of the area.

Q: What do I do if I forget my Personal Identification Number (PIN)?

A: If you forget your PIN please visit your local InFirst Bank office. For your financial protection and to ensure security, you will need to fill out a PIN request form in person.

You can also use Manage Cards through Online Banking or your InFirst Bank Mobile App to change your PIN.

Q: What are the daily transaction limitations on my ATM or my VISA Check Card?

A: You can use either card to withdraw up to $500 in cash per day from an ATM. In addition, you can use your VISA Check Card for up to $1500 in purchases in a 24-hour period from merchants who accept Visa Cards. This 24-hour period runs from midnight to midnight each day.

You can use Manage Cards through Online Banking or your InFirst Bank Mobile App to quickly and conveniently process a temporary increase to your spending limit for larger purchases that exceed debit card limits.
